Create A Gallery Wall With Oversized Prints

Living room with a gallery wall.

The Goal: To create a gallery wall with oversized prints to fill a large wall.

This Gallery wall. I have to say it's one of my absolute favorite design features in our home. There's nothing like black and white photos in a black frame. It's elegant and timeless. I decided to use oversized prints in this room because I had such a large wall to fill. I needed something to span the entire wall to create fluidity to this long and narrow room. Our couch is at one end and our tv is at the other so it was important to bring the room together and make it feel like one large space. What I used:

To create this look I used Ribba frames from Ikea in the largest size they come in, 61 x 91 cm. These frames are incredibly budget friendly. They're priced at $34.99 and come with the photo mat. I printed the photos at Staples. They don't have the exact same size as the photo opening in the frames but I opted for one size up knowing I would lose a little bit off the photo. It was so minimal that this wasn't a problem.
